Content Migration Between Devices

If you buy a new iPad/iPhone, you would like to transfer content from old device to new device. Here is the method:

• Update TouchAppCreator app in both old and new device to the latest version
• Plug old device into PC / Mac
• Use iTunes to connect to old device
• Go to File Sharing, and select TouchAppCreator
• Copy all the folders and files from old device to desktop
• On desktop, change all folders' name by adding suffix ".pkg", e.g. XXX to XXX.pkg (icon will be changed to package)
• Unplug old device from PC / Mac and plug new device into PC / Mac
• Use iTunes to connect to new device
• Go to File Sharing, and select TouchAppCreator
• Copy all the folders and files from new device if you need to backup
• Delete all the folders and files from new device
• Copy all the folders and files from desktop into new device
• On iTunes, change all folders' name by removing suffix ".pkg", e.g. XXX.pkg to XXX (icon will be changed to folder)
• Unplug new device from PC / Mac
• Finally, launch TouchAppCreator app in new device

TouchAppCreator v2.3

TouchAppCreator v2.3 is released.

Here are new features:

1. New Chart Element (Pie, Bar, Line, Donut, Horizontal Bar, Radar)

2. All recorded audio files are changed to mp3 format

3. Open In support for images, videos, audio recordings (export file to other app)

4. Change page title according to prefix and number

5. Import markdown files

TouchAppCreator v2.2

TouchAppCreator v2.2 is released.

Here are new features:

1. Auto save features for paragraph, markdown, html and title element

2. Resource Library (store the files transferred from other app via Open In)

3. Find and replace string for elements

4. Mark pages as draft version

5. Option to include draft in the generated app

If you have upgraded device to iOS 7 and updated CBB app and the problem still exists, please send email to our support.

iOS 7 Issues

There are some issues for TouchAppCreator when it is running on iOS 7.

We are still fixing the problems and will release new version as soon as possible.

Please do not upgrade your device to iOS 7 until new version of TouchAppCreator is ready.
